REFERRAL PROCESS
We require a valid referral to be sent to the clinic before we can book an appointment with one of our specialists.
Our providers review and triage their referrals prior to booking an appointment, once the provider has reviewed your referral, our reception staff will contact you to book an appointment.

APPOINTMENT INFORMATION
Appointment Confirmation:
Queensland Rehabilitation Specialists will send a confirmation text at least 48 hours prior to appointment. It is the patient's responsibility to respond in confirmation or cancellation.
Cancellation Policy:
Queensland Rehabilitation Specialists request 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Failure to do so will result in a $50 cancellation fee. Please also be advised that QRS will be unable to provide ongoing appointments if there are arrears associated with the account.
Additional Documentation:
We kindly request that all appropriate correspondence regarding this appointment be forwarded via email 1 week prior to this scheduled appointment to ensure optimal use of appointment time. This is best received at [email protected].

Please bring the following to your scheduled appointment:
- Medicare/DVA card
- Referral letter (if we do not already have a copy)
- Any pension, health care or concession cards you may hold
- Any relevant results for the practitioners to review
Payment Information
Payment is required at the time of your consultation.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid referral for this appointment. If we do not receive a referral from your GP or Specialist, you will not be able to claim a rebate through Medicare and will be required to pay the full consultation fee.
Third Party Insurance
Please advise our rooms prior to your consultation if another party such as WorkCover or an insurance company will be paying your consultation fees. Before seeing our providers, we will need your claim number and insurer contact details to confirm with the third party that they accept to pay your account.
