Dr Geffen sought advice from neurology colleagues at Mater Private Hospital in Brisbane, who diagnosed our patient with Stiff Person Syndrome, a one-in-a-million condition that had paralysed Mrs Hodges below the waist and left her unable to move her legs or feet due to very severe spasticity and dystonia.

Patients pay privately and will receive a Medicare Rebate. Procedures: Dr Geffen is able to perform Botox injections and Ultrasound guided injections in rooms, or CT guided injections at Exact Radiology, Canossa Private Hospital on Tuesday afternoons.
