Dr Jiao is a Rehabilitation Medicine specialist with years of experience in a wide range of rehabilitation settings such as neurorehabilitation, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiopulmonary and chronic pain.
His special interests include hypertonicity management (including ultrasound guided Botulinum toxin injections and Baclofen pump refills), musculoskeletal disorders (including ultrasound guided injections), orthopaedics (e.g. post joint arthroplasty), neurologic disorders (including stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease), amputation, deconditioning and cardiac rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
Dr Jiao is an Associate Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Queensland and has an interest in the education of medical students and junior doctors.
Dr Jiao is a Visiting Medical Officer at Canossa Private Hospital and conducts outpatient clinics at Rehab+Fitness in Brisbane, My Foot Dr in Robina and Sports&Spinal in Robina.
